  I think “Batman and Robin” (1949) gets a really bad rap. In my opinion, it’s really fun, fast, fun nostalgic. There are obviously very stupid songs in it, but there are a few cringeworthy moments really into it. Most of the poor special effects and moments of deus ex machina (torch Batman magically appears on his utility belt) just add to the fun, in my opinion.
  I think Robert Lowery looked, looked and it was great as Batman. It ‘obvious at first, his costume seems a little’ hokey, but you really get used to it. The course looks amazing and is perfectly dark and white throughout (the cloak over 1943, which seemed desperately occasionally white). Even the “devil’s horns” (many people complain) it grew on me and reminded me of the original 1939 Batman suit. Lowery also had a physical presence as Batman that neither Lewis Wilson or Adam West had. Looked strong and athletic (even if he could wear a belt: P).
  John Duncan is decent and simple as Robin. It is not much to do, but what it does, it does well enough. People complain that it is too old and I suppose it is, but easily passes for 19-22 years and one year is just as likely as old as Wonder Boy Chris O’Donnell (which I liked) was 46 years later . Moreover, even if not comic yellow cloak, I LOVE Robin costume. And ‘much darker and looks great next to Batman. I like to think that the band is a very dark green instead of black.
  Probably the best thing about this series, compared to the original plot and the ugly. The “Machine Remote Control” and “The Wizard” are much more interesting (though a bit ‘cliché) villains that racist propaganda irritating bad original. The actor who plays the wizard is new, difficult, ugly, establishing a voice surprisingly fascinating. Really looks like a real threat to Batman.
  The biggest problem I have with this series is that Batman and Robin lose almost every single fight, so there may be a cliffhanger. Despite the tenacity Lowery, Batman is really all the criminals and you put your hand on it, “call the police for questioning,” instead of beating himself answers. Not to mention, in several chapters, Batman and Robin follow the bad guys in their input secret hideout, only to lose track of them. It ‘s really irritating that it does not consider pointing Batman voice. The last installment of this series is really fun and my favorite chapter, probably because it highlights all the flaws I mentioned. Batman finally decided to wait outside the entrance to the secret lair, following one of the minions and requires that led him to the wizard. Lowery is really cool in this scene.
  believe Lowery and Duncan would have been great for a TV show Batman of the 1950s, in the same direction as the first season of “Adventures of Superman”, which was very dark and full of gangsters and murderers. isolated incidents must be better than those drawn on serialized, simply because they could show their strength in their entirety, rather than being castrated frustrating and registered for the final, as it happened in this series.
  However, I highly recommend this series to all fans of Batman. Personally, despite its flaws, I think it was a great spectacle in 1966, which, although excellent, it was just a big joke. I prefer the unintentional humor kitsch in this series, not to mention the Lowery performance, which is probably my favorite live-action Batman before the hit film began (and, frankly, I classify more than George Clooney, easily).

  Wow this film is excellent and the costumes seem exciting.The Flash Batman started this.Furthermore probably a great movie, even for the younger fans of Batman as Batman is my favorite hero me.Personally because it is just a normal guy, with gadgets, some muscles and brain.The action is superb and the script becomes for me a plot and the fight against A.Great too.Just not to mention the Batmobile, but unfortunately all the comic fans will tell Batmobile that appeared much later Detective Comics # 27. You can watch episode after episode and I wonder how on earth can survive batman this.The only problem I have with this movie once you start watching, believe me you do not care about the video stop.I 7.9 out of 10.

  This series is basically the prototype of the Adam West TV series. Robert Lowery plays Batman and Bruce Wayne any as a company that is an officer of the law supplemented, and draws some of the most unlikely of his research at low cost, flat belt, like a gas mask that looks like it was made of a straw, and a full size blowtorch. Ironically, Adam West, in his autobiography, these plans are being made to put on the show that Bruce Lowery often quoted (but never seen) his uncle, but the concept has never been adopted.
  John Duncan & # x27; s Dick Grayson and Robin are both much more mature than either Croft Douglas and Burt Ward, and is also much more boring. Lyle Talbot Commissioner Gordon is flat and one-dimensional. Jane Adams plays a very forgettable Vicki Vale, and Eric Alfred Wilton plays a lot like the TV Alan Napier, but has little to do but to wear a spare in case of need Batman, as well as several episodes of the TV series.

  Possible spoiler.
  I can only remember seeing two films in the series in 40 years, CAPTAIN MARVEL-1941 (CM) and Batman & Robin-1949 (BM & R) and therefore can not base my opinion on the series made during this period on Based on these two films. Both films follow the same premise of having the hero (s) tracking a mysterious masked villan that, through the use of technology, a technology that does not exist today, and an endless supply of thug work attempts to exercise control on others. CM has 12 chapters and BM & R has 15 chapters. A chapter will be shown each week with a cliffhanger ending until the last chapter concludes the series to expose the villan and ends crime wave. Both series are present as a mixture of mystery, action and suspense. Although the mystery of trying to guess who the masked villan is not a mystery. A mystery leaves clues so that the viewer can understand the mystery. In this series of indexes are maintained until the villan is unmasked and the viewer discovers that he is a person to whom the information does not appear.
  I think CM was the best of the series 2, but BM & R was beautiful. In each episode, Batman & Robin would track down the masked villan known as the wizard. The wizard is able to control any moving vehicle in a car he stole. He needed diamonds to power the machine. The wizard also tried to steal an explosive process. The assistant had a machine that could see all over the world. He could see her help hire, follow the Batman and Robin and the like. However, he never used to alert delinquent assistance approaching or Batman & Robin Batman & Robin to follow their hiding place. The wizard can hypnotize people with his eyes flashing. The point of view of child wizard is very deadly and powerful. From the point of view of the adult wizard is too powerful to be believed and is not smart enough for efficient use of energy.
  Batman & Robin have what would be considered by modern standards lame costumes. Descent Robin costume, but the Batman costume looks like it was done by the demons of pajamas and a mask. It ‘obvious to anyone who has seen both Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson and Batman & Robin are the same people. Do not even try to hide their voice. The Batcave is very cheezy Wayne Manor and less like a palace more like a middle-class home in the suburbs Gothem. Why Batman and Robin, the usefulness of seat belts is beyond me, as they rarely use them. The less said the better Batcar. Also there are no villains in Batman & Robin fight the thugs, even several times in each chapter.
  That said, I have to stop saying that the series is very nice. Do not watch this expecting to see or be awarded a story that will be nominated for an Oscar. The viewer simply love the story for what it is. An escape for a short time. For defects of the series is fun as watching the story itself. Cliffhanger endings usually show the death of a hero (s) and, even if they survive you know you can not help but look forward to the next chapter to see what incredible means that have escaped death.
  So if you’re a fan of the old series or Batman & Robin would definitely be worth watching. It ‘available in VHS format for a very reasonable price.
